When developing in SharePoint one can often get this message in IE when editing a page “Are you sure you want to navigate away from this page" after waiting 10-30 seconds.
You can get rid of this error by changing the following IE settings.
Remove the check from “Enable native XMLHTTP support”. You need to close the browser for this to have effect.
When done you wont se the alert again
