When you install PowerGUI. You won’t have visual assist when using SharePoint specific powershell commands.
In order to have visual assist when doing SharePoint powershell do the following.
File –> PowerShell Libraries
Select Microsoft.SharePoint.PowerShell
Now you have autocomplete
